Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota - journalist, author, host of the CNN's "New Day" morning show, Westport resident and Westport Country Playhouse trustee - has been elected. Camerota's 30 years of journalistic experience have led to her covering many stories in the United States and abroad. Furthermore, she is the recipient of the Edward R. Murrow Award and an Emmy Award. Johnna G. Torsone from Stamford has been named as an honorary board participant after being on the board for the past seven months. Anna Czekaj Farber, who currently serves as chair of the Westport board having served on it since 2013, also a new board member. Czekaj Farber replaces Barbara Streicker from Westport who was chair of the board in the previous year. She has continued to serve in the position since 2006.
