Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March, 1958 to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant, and Joseph William Stone 2nd, an ex-tool and die maker as well as a factory worker. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her siblings. Stone is a gifted student when she was a young child, began in second grade at five. Stone graduated from Saegertown High School in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. Additionally, she participated in the Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone moved back to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977, to explore a modeling career. She did so after signing at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. While in Europe Stone lived for a year in Milano and Paris. Stone, disillusioned at the model world that was thriving in Europe took up acting while living in Europe. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", was a mixed success when she was 20.
