Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney, September 6th 1953. She is an American actress. She's best-known as Lieutenant Sheba of the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978 to 1979. Her mother is actress June Lockhart. Her professional journey began young. She was just four years old when her first acting role was as a character in T is for Tumbleweed. It was nominated for an Academy Award in this short film. The actress learned to manage the company with her mother while on set. Lockhart was also a part of numerous episodes of Lassie. Dora in Jory, 1972 was her first film. The Sixth Sense was a TV show that ran from 1972. At the age of 18 years old, she portrayed Joan Crawford, Joan's daughter. Joan was the last actress to appear in the show. It is believed that Anne turned down the role in the film Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's 1978 thriller Halloween which was later cast for Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter says he had her in mind to play the part, but that she rejected the offer. Anne has no memory of getting approached from John Carpenter or being offered the role. Perhaps her agent rejected the role down without informing Anne. Her initial choice was made for the part by Glen Larson who sent her an initial script for an appearance in the 1978 series on television Battlestar Galactica. In the beginning, she didn't like the part because it was too weak. Glen was later able to write a character to her, which featured a strong character called Sheba. The Living Legend, the initial twenty-five pages she had read and was subsequently accepted. The show ran for a single season. She was in Joyride the 1977 film co-starring Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) and alongside Robert Carradine. In 1987 she co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
